This is a really nice looking, expensive appearing tote bag purse. It was much much bigger than it looks online and it's great People who have purchaed this bag love it. Some reviews of this tote bag include the tote bag is big but this is a little too big for the everyday purse use. It would work well if you want to use it as a briefcase for work. I used it as my carry-on during my last flight. There was plenty of room to spare after I put water bottle, all my make-up, 3 large books and all sorts of other junk. The strap is long - like near the waste and the other strap is too short to carry over your arm - so either you carry it by hand or it hangs down to your waist. My only other complaint about the purse was the large golden metal pieces on each side. I'm not crazy about gold and these were really big and golden. If you want something on the small to medium size that you can carry over the shoulder at chest level - this is definitely NOT the bag for you. All in all, this bag has grown on me and it is a relatively good bargain.
